What to Do in Denver!

Hey friends!

One question I seem to get on IG all the time is “What’s there to do in Denver?” Today I wanted to share a few of my favorite places in the mile high city!

In yesterday’s post, I talked about our staycation at the Renaissance Downtown Denver. Our eyes were really opened to how walkable Denver is that weekend! Today I just wanted to share all the fun things there are to do in Denver if you’re just looking to WALK!

where to eat / drink

So many good spots in Denver! My personal favorites are:

5280 Burger Bar – Located on 16th Street (right next to Sephora lol) & the burgers are so good! Also love their garlic fries omg. <3

Denver Milk Market – Sooo many good food & drink options here! They have anything you could dream of! It’s set up as an indoor marketplace, but you can enjoy outside seating as well. Drinks include a wine bar, a pub, a full bar, and a coffee shop. We didn’t get a chance to eat here, but there’s definitely something for everyone!

The Rio – Hands down my favorite Mexican place in Colorado! Margaritas are SO GOOD & I LIVE for their guac!

Snooze – If you love brunch this is your SPOT! awesome drinks and food. Just trust me on this one.. if you’re in CO, it’s definitely a place to put on your list.

There are quite a few fun things to do within walking distance of Downtown Denver! Here are a few we did over Memorial Day weekend!

Visit the capitol and stand at exactly 5280′ elevation. The exact elevation has actually *sunk* since the capitol was originally constructed. The most recent measured elevation is marked on the steps, and was noted in 2003.

Explore 16th Street. Always something to see there! When we visited, there was a rock n’ roll festival. There’s also a ton of shopping.. I know y’all are into that hah!

Go to a Rockies Game. Nothing like a baseball game in the summertime. 🙂
