Hi Friends!! Last weekend Ryan and I ran the Horsetooth Half Marathon, and it was honestly a blast! We got to run along Horsetooth Reservoir while overlooking the Ft. Collins on a beautiful sunny day… it was legit perfect weather for race day!
During the training period, we really had to focus on eating right and staying hydrated. Getting enough protein is SO import when you’re running almost every day! I can definitely tell a difference in my runs when I don’t drink enough water and eat kinda crappy vs. when I’m hydrated and eating healthy. I had to learn the hard way, but eventually I realized how much easier training is (and life in general ha) when there are healthy meals ready to go in my fridge!
These meals are easy to make, protein packed, and (most importantly) delicious!!
