Hey y’all! Since it’s officially MARCH, I wanted to share some of my favorite trends for the springtime. It’s definitely fun to begin thinking about warmer weather, especially since we got 6″ of snow this weekend! Spring is so exciting because everything seems new IMO! Fresh flowers, longer days, warmer nights.. I love it all!
Below I’ve listed 4 trends that I’m excited about for the Spring. Enjoy!
1. bold & pastel colors
Throwback to our honeymoon because this was the first time I wore this dress! IMO it’s just fun to wear different kinds of hues once the weather starts to warm up. It’s always a breath of fresh air to be able to wear pretty shades of pinks, blues, lilacs, etc.
The exact color of this dress hasn’t come back into stock yet, but it does come in 7 other colors. It is SUPER comfortable y’all. It’s actually a ‘midi’ length, but since I’m tall, I bunched up the ruching in the middle to make the hem fall over the knee!
This is one of my favorite tops for working gals! It comes in tons of colors, is about $30, and is perfect for the office. The looser fit is really comfy, too! This color is slightly see-through, so I wear a thin tank underneath.
2. fun prints
(including leopard/cheetah print #duh)
This might be my favorite one y’all! I am allll about some fun prints pretty much any time of the year, but during the spring I especially get into different patterns and colors! Mixing patterns is big too – think stripes and camo or florals & plaid.
This dress in camo fits soooo well y’all. Wearing a size small and the length is perfect! I love this style for spring, and it looks so cute with a denim jacket, too!
3. joggers
I am a HUGE fan of joggers y’all. They are the perfect way to mix it up when you don’t feel like wearing jeans, plus they are sooo comfy. It’s becoming more and more common for them to be dressed up with a blazer and a pair of heels!
Check out this post to see how I styled these joggers for the office! Love this pair because they can be worn so many different ways.. they look cute with leopard slides & a white tee, too! They are a little more hippie than I tend to lean towards, but sometimes you just gotta branch out haha.
4. lace
By the time the weather warms up, I’m more that ready to dress girly, which is why I’m loving all the lace pieces for this spring. After being bundled up for so many months, I love breaking out the more delicate pieces like a cute lace cami.
What are your favorite trends for spring? The two I find myself leaning most towards are fun prints and pastel hues.
Wishing you a great week ahead with warmer weather in sight!
