Happy Friday! I made a trip to Home Goods the other weekend and got some major Christmas decorating inspiration. This is the very first Christmas that our house is actually (mostly) DONE, and I’m sooo excited to outfit every space with Christmas decor.
This past summer I was dying to get a farmhouse style buffet table for this shiplap wall in our dining room, but when I looked online they were all pretty expensive! That’s when I got the idea to just build my own. I love how it turned out, and the project cost me less than $100.
Click here to read how we built our buffet table for under $100 and download the plans for your own use.
What do you guys think about the “artwork” above the buffet table? It’s actually just cardboard wrapped in Christmas paper with burlap fabric tied in a bow. I used an old festive napkin ring to keep the bow together.
The burlap fabric I used for the bow is also what the runner is made of. It’s so cheap and you can really do a lot with it!
This is the first year I have been able to show off my Spode Christmas dishes!!! I have a small set of 4 place settings – it was a wedding present and I love it. We have plenty of cabinet space in our kitchen for our year-round dishes, mugs, and food, but we don’t have any extra cabinet space for additional dishware. Placing it on the buffet table was a good storage solution, but I also like that I get to see them everyday! Here are a few of my favorite Christmas dish sets:
This flocked Christmas tree is about a year old, and I loooove it. We will most definitely get a real tree as well, but it’s nice to be able to put up a tree early and not worry about it dying haha! My specific tree is sold out, but this one is really similar.
Thanks for reading!
I love all of the decor!
