The coastal entryway I have always envisioned for this home has come to life!!! I was hoping to do a small entryway makeover (DIY style) that would have big impact – and I think the paint & decor did it!!! ๐ I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again and again… paint is a POWERFUL thing!
Here’s a look how much paint changed the space even after we updated our floors. The floors definitely helped update the space, but I really felt like the entryway was still “blah” with the white door. If you know me, you know that I LOVE painting doors. ๐ I have a full tutorial on how to paint doors saved HERE, and how to paint door *frames* HERE.

For a shoe storage solution, I snagged this narrow shoe storage cabinet. It’s such a great way to keep your shoes off the ground and out of sight! We have a small coat closet that we’ll hang jackets in, but I plan on adding additional coat storage in the room behind that mirror on the wall (At least, I think! Time will tell!!)
