Healthy Breakfast Smoothies

We’ve all heard it: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Starting your morning off on the right foot is crucial to having a great day! Most of the time, I’ll just eat Fage nonfat greek yogurt with KIND granola. I love having this for breakfast because there’s so much protein in yogurt, which is super important for anyone who’s active!

BUT there are some days when I need to change it up. When I feel like I need some fruits and veggies added into my diet, a healthy smoothie is my go-to! Below are three filling smoothies that I absolutely love!

How to make the smoothies:

  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Enjoy!

Tips and tricks:

  • Add water or almond milk if you’re having trouble getting the ingredients to blend.
  • Use frozen fruit to keep your smoothie cold.
  • Make extra ahead of time and freeze it immediately. Smoothies make great snacks throughout the day!

Green Goddess Smoothie:

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 banana
  • ¼ cup pineapple
  • 1 cup water / ice

Prosperous Protein Smoothie

  • 2 cups of spinach or kale
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup ice

Brilliant Berry Smoothie

  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 banana
  • Sprinkle of pumpkin seeds
  • ½ cup strawberries
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ¼ cup raspberries
  • ½ cup ice
  • ½ cup water

What’s your favorite smoothie recipe?

Hope y’all have a great weekend!
