Body-Con Dress of the Season

I don’t know about y’all, but I’m typically pretty weary of body-con dresses. I mean I love them on other girls, but I never really thought they were my style.. I’m a pretty conservative gal when it comes to outfits haha. When I was shopping for my honeymoon, I knew I should try on fun outfits that I don’t usually wear.

Holy cow am I glad I tried this baby on! The shape of this dress on the hanger made it seem like it was going to be skin tight, and I figured I’d have to really suck in when I put it on (lol no thanks.) HOWEVER. The soft cotton material + the generous amount of rouching on the sides actually make this dress super comfortable and flattering!

As soon as I slipped it on, I instantly felt prettier. Isn’t it weird how clothing can do that to you? I felt more confident and ready for anything. Once I debuted it for Ryan, he asked why I didn’t wear more dresses like this. Ha!

This dress is technically a “midi” length (meaning the hem is supposed to hit mid-shin), but I’m not crazy about that length on me. The rouching can easily be rearranged to make the length longer or shorter!

Once summertime hit, I became obsessed with bright, bold colors. I usually gravitate towards more earthy colors, but I was honestly sold after I had this dress on for like 5 seconds haha. We all need a different, fun dress that makes us feel like a rockstar! Whether you’re going to the beach, a concert, or just out to dinner for date night or girl’s night, this little number is perfect. It also comes in 5 other colors, and in stripes!

The night I wore this dress was so relaxing and fun. Ryan and I walked the beach, drank wine, and talked about our future together before getting dinner.

I can’t wait to share more about our honeymoon and wedding day!! Stay tuned because I’ve got A LOT more in the works. 🙂

P.S. did anyone notice my massive bug bites on my legs in the first few pics?! “no see ums” (a type of mosquito) are REAL in Turks and Caicos y’all haha.

As always, thanks for reading!

xoxo liz
