So I know everyone’s starting to focus more on fall clothing.. especially since the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is going on right now! (P.S. Did you see my *must have* picks from the sale?! I always get so excited for fall! BUT I gotta admit.. I’m pretty happy summer is still here 🙂 Is it just me, or has this season been super hot?! Normally it cools down a bit at night in Boulder, but lately it’s just been nonstop heat (and I’m not complaining about that one bit haha). We still have one more month of cut offs, tank tops, and flip flops, (and concerts, pool days, and tan lines!) so I thought I’d share an easy summer date night outfit with y’all!

I’m a sucker for simple, basic pieces with some fun jewelry, especially on date nights! That’s normally because I’m rushing from work to meet Ryan out and I need to change clothes in like five minutes haha. If you’ve been following me for a while now, you may have realized that I love cut off shorts. IMO they’re just so flattering and they make your legs look 10X better! I’ve had this pair for two years now and somehow they’re still white lol.
A few of you have asked, so here’s some of our favorite date night spots (there’s so many good places in Boulder!):
- The Rio (rooftop + margs + view of the Flatirons = heaven)

- West End Tavern (best burger in Boulder.. and another awesome rooftop!)
