Friday Favorites

I can honestly say I never get tired of that Friday feeling! This week felt a bit shorter because we had a blizzard in Boulder. I ended up leaving work before lunchtime on Wednesday because of the snow.. and if you have ever driven in a blizzard, then you know how scary it can be! It was a complete white out!

Last week I began my “Friday Favorites” series (read why here) sooo below are a few things I have been loving this week! I’m changing up the format a bit – let me know what you think!

favorite way to relax

A snow day! As much as I’m ready for spring time and cut offs, there is something special about a beautiful snow storm that forces you to slow down. We always stop by the grocery store and the liquor store before the roads get bad so we can really enjoy just being cozy at home!

favorite meal

Kale Caesar Salad with Lime & Crispy Shrimp! I have been really into salads lately, and this one is so refreshing. Another easier option is subbing steak for shrimp and using Trader Joe’s balsamic & fig dressing.

favorite spring outfit

Rompers & jumpsuits! Even though going to the bathroom in them is an ordeal (LOL) I am all about them. I love how the stripes on this one make me feel taller. Being able to throw on one piece (with a pair of earrings and heels) and be ready for date night? Count me in!

favorite fruity refreshment

Lemon Blueberry Moscow Mule! IDK about y’all, but I’m down for a Moscow Mule any time of the year. I love that this recipe has blueberries and lemon in it!

favorite rustic living space

How gorgeous is this living room! Chris & Julia from chrislovesjulia.com tragically lost this cabin in a fire, but the renovations they made to the A frame before losing it were stunning. This chandelier is exactly what I want to hang above our dining room table one day.

What are you loving this week? Tonight Ryan and I are headed to one of our favorite Boulder date night spots. They seriously have the best fried plantains. Follow along on stories to see where!

Have a wonderful weekend!
