Favorite PJs for Spring + Tips to Improve Your Morning Routine

I seriously can’t believe it’s already mid March!! Today is Ryan’s birthday, and I feel like we were just celebrating his bday last year… where does the time go?! It’s like I blink and a month has gone by haha. If you feel like time is flying by too, then there’s at least a silver lining: it’s finally starting to warm up in Boulder!! I actually went to brunch yesterday without wearing a jacket. Score!!! Recently I’ve shared my top swimwear and cover-up picks, and today I wanted to highlight a few of PJs that I’m loving this spring. IMO, a girl just can’t have too many PJs. Going to bed cozy and feeling like a princess is something that every girl deserves!

Favorite pajamas:

Satin Boxer Pajamas

It’s the end of the day, you’ve put in a hard day’s work, and you’ve just enjoyed a long, hot shower. When it’s hot out, there’s nothing better than throwing on a pair of silky smooth satin pajamas. I’ve had this pair for a few years, and the’ve held up great! After sleeping in them night after night, I’ve realized that I just can’t live without them haha.

Unfortunately this exact pair of jammies sold out so fast once Christmas hit, but I wanted to share this brand with y’all! Make + Model is a brand that I just discovered and absolutely love. We all have that pair of pajamas that we tend to gravitate towards, and this pair is definitely my go to if I know I’m going to be up late playing games with the family! The top is so cozy, but it honestly looks like a sweater and could be worn with jeans haha. Regardless of how these look, it’s the material that continually wins me over. This brand holds it’s shape and feels like a cloud!

How to prep for bedtime + tips to improve your morning routine:

We all have those nights where we just can’t fall asleep, and IMO there’s nothing worse than laying in bed wide awake!! So here’s a few tips that have helped me rest easier:

  1. Get a pair of pajamas that make you feel cozy and pretty. Ain’t nobody wanna be itchy when you’re trying to fall asleep!
  2. Set up your coffee the night before so you can simply wake up to the glorious smell of coffee. I swear by this coffee maker. It may or may not be my favorite gift from Ryan so far.
  3. Pick out your outfit for the next day. Not having to decide what to wear in the morning can be a huge stress relief, and it’s just one less thing to think about during the hustle and bustle of the AM.
  4. Plug your phone in on the opposite side of your room (after you set your alarm!) and put in on do not disturb mode. Once you’re in bed, you’re in you sacred place. There’s no need for you to check email, Facebook, or Instagram once you’re unwinding. We all need to give our brain a social break at the end of each day.
  5. Drink a glass of water an hour before bed, and refill it so you can sip it if you wake up in the middle of the night thirsty. Just don’t drink too much or your sleep might be interrupted!
  6. Pack your workout bag before you go to bed. It’s pretty simple.. just grab your closest lululemon bag, throw in your favorite workout gear (and maybe a towel / freshening wipes), and you’re good to go in the morning!
  7. Lay down, take a deep breath, and say a prayer. I don’t know about y’all, but it seems like my brain is always running a mile a minute when I lay down at night. Simply taking a moment to be with the Lord can be so reassuring and comforting!
  8. Ear plugs. Maybe it’s a noisy partying neighbor, or a roommate who won’t turn down their TV, or just a siren that randomly screams in the night. Using ear plugs is a total game change. Just make sure you hear your alarm in the morning haha.

I’ve linked a few more of my favorite pajamas below that are so cute and cozy for the springtime!

Thank you so much for reading! What do you do to get a good night’s sleep?

xoxo liz
