How to Rep Your American Pride on Memorial Day

It’s almost Memorial Day weekenddd! Normally I go camping this weekend, but since our wedding is in nine days (single digits!), I’ll be busy dealing with the last minute details. Like going to my final dress fitting, getting my hair cut and my eyebrows waxed, and getting a facial!!! All important last minute details y’all! Ha. It’s actually so nice to have the Monday off before the wedding, because once the family gets into town, it’s gonna be go go go. And before we know it, Ryan and I will be on our honeymoon. *swoon* Eeek!!

OKAY, back to Memorial Day weekend. Did y’all know that it didn’t become an official holiday until 1971?? And believe it or not, it’s not just a day designated to kick off summertime and go to the lake (although I can’t argue with that tradition one bit haha.) Memorial Day is about remembering your loved ones who gave their life fighting for this country. It’s about knowing how fortunate we are and being proud to live in the US of A!

Now time to get y’all in the spirit! Let’s rep our American pride this summer! I’ve linked my *favorite* summer USA staples below. Whether you’re going to the lake, camping, or just headed to a neighbor’s, here’s some Memorial Day outfit inspo for ya:

What’s your favorite holiday… Memorial Day or Fourth of July? As far as I’m concerned, if there’s BBQ and sweet tea, I’m GOOD ha!

Have an awesome long weekend y’all!

xoxo liz
